Im September 1995 gr\u00fcndete er in New York Studio B, das fach\u00fcbergreifender Designberatung gewidmet ist.<\/p>\n

Im Jahr 1996 pr\u00e4sentierte er bei der International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), in New York seine erste Kollektion, die mit dem Editor’s Award f\u00fcr den \u201eBest of Show\u201c ausgezeichnet wurde.<\/p>\n

Er arbeitete weiterhin in verschiedenen Sektoren: Innenarchitektur, B\u00fcroeinrichtung, Gegenst\u00e4nde f\u00fcr das Haus, Beleuchtung, Zubeh\u00f6r f\u00fcr die Mode und Grafikdesign, und gewann zahlreiche Auszeichnungen.<\/p>\n

Auf dem globalen Markt des Designs ist Bernett der erste amerikanische Designer, der mit europ\u00e4ischen Unternehmen zusammenarbeitet.
\nEine unvollst\u00e4ndige Liste von Kunden umfasst B&B Italia, Boeing, Boffi, Cappellini, Conde Nast, DWR\/Design Within Reach, Herman Miller, Knoll, L’Oreal, Mercedes Benz, Northwest Airlines\/Delta and Teknion.<\/p>\n

Bernett ist Inhaber vielz\u00e4hliger Patente und wurde in verschiedenen Publikationen zitiert. Er unterrichtet zudem gelegentlich in Designschulen und anl\u00e4sslich Designveranstaltungen auf der ganzen Welt.<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr die Badezimmer-Kollektion Boffi entwarf er die Waschbecken Box und Quad in den Jahren 2001 und 2002 und das Waschbecken Quadtwo im Jahr
