K2 – K3 – K4
Description
The Norbert Wangen’s kitchen cube design, presented in several shapes and dimensions, revolutionises the concept of the compact kitchen. The K series develops from a single stand-alone monobloc that contains all the necessary elements for cooking, as well as a sliding top for serving and sharing food. All K2, K3 and K4 kitchens conform to the same design parameters, with increases in size (from k2 to k4) and, therefore, the specification of the equipment that can be housed. When closed all the kitchens form a complete block, but when the stainless steel or Corian® top slides to one side, it reveals a preparation surface, a hob (electric or induction) and a sink with hand-made solid stainless steel taps. The base units enclose an oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, cupboard and drawer space. The K2 kitchen is the largest model (324 cm long when closed, 353 cm when open); the K3 is intermediate (200 cm when closed and 289.5 cm when open), while the K4 is the most compact (only 159 cm when closed and 248 cm when open), but still manages to house a hob, a solid stainless steel sink, compartments for the refrigerator and dishwasher and an under basin drawer.
