Hoods
Description
Tile 17
Externally vented hood, covered by tiled panels. The squared tiles have different decorative designs and formats, in a choice of glossy white or matt black. It can also be covered in painted glass, stainless steel or Corian®. The visible lower frame is in stainless steel and the vertical profiles visible on corners are in stainless steel (recommended for white tiles) or black painted (recommended for black tiles).
Open
It is a suspended ceiling system for island kitchens consisting of a stainless steel hood and shelves in wired glass supported by metal tie-rods. Open is later integrated with a large double suspended shelf, with a matt black painted metal structure, wooden shelves and a hanging bar for ladles with integrated LED lighting that illuminates the entire working area. The exclusive extractor hood can be also painted in matt black.
DD1-F
Flush-mounted totally concealed extractor hood in stainless steel, for island or peninsula compositions. It is equipped with touch control for ascending and descending. The DD1-F can be used and installed only on specific cabinets. Ordering an optional kit, it can be converted into recirculating working. The covering panel can be in same finish as worktop, except for lasermat and wood, where the stainless steel finish is used. In the Combine kitchen with black glass ceramic worktop the DD1-F hood is proposed in the same finish. Norbert Wangen, 2011.
Ghost
Wall-mounted or island externally vented hood with a painted metal structure, stainless steel profiles and extra-clear (called extralight) transparent glass perimeter panels, on four sides in the island version and on three sides in the wall version. A fluorescent lighting is integrated. It is recessed into false ceilings. Piero Lissoni, 2006.
Ceiling
Suspended island or wall-mounted hood, available in externally vented or recirculating versions. Its parallelepiped-shaped structure in stainless steel profiles can be adjusted to the ceiling height.
The hood is completed with finished covering panels, available in brushed stainless steel (horizontal satin finish), tempered glass in full Boffi range (except for transparent glasses), Corian® or mirror. Piero Lissoni 2002
.Kappa
Wall-mounted or island externally vented hood, covered by tiled panels. The squared tiles
have different decorative designs and formats, in a choice of glossy white or matt black. It can also be covered in wood, wood Selection, stainless steel or Corian®. It is made of a metal structure with a visible lower frame in stainless steel and a light screen. Tile hood can be converted into recirculating working using a plate for air outlet and filters. Glass
Suspended island or wall-mounted hood, available in externally vented or recirculating versions. It has an integrated shelf in stratified glass, supported by tubular stainless steel tie-rods.

Tile
Ventilating hood, wall-mounted or Island model with a metal structure, always in the same size, covered with panels, the ventilating area with motors and aluminium grease filters.

Piero Lissoni
Led by Piero Lissoni, the practice combines a range of expertise with a tailored approach that sets it apart, establishing a stylistic code and a visual identity that are clearly and instantly recognizable.
The practice’s work is inspired by a sense of rigor and simplicity and is characterized by a regard to detail, coherence and elegance with particular attention to proportion and harmony.
Piero Lissoni is creative director for Alpi, Boffi, Living Divani, Lema, Lualdi, Porro and Sanlorenzo for whom he also designs an extensive range of products. Recognized as one of the masters of contemporary design, he has worked with many international brands including Alessi, Antrax, Atlas Concorde, B&B, Bonacina1889, Cappellini, Cassina, Cotto, De Padova, Fantini, Flos, Glas Italia, Golran, Illy, Janus et Cie, Kartell, Kerakoll, KN Industrie, Knoll, Nerosicilia, Olivari, Salvatori, Tecno, Viccarbe.
Organised around different fields of intervention, the practice comprises Lissoni Casal Ribeiro for masterplans, landscape design, architecture, Lissoni Associati for interior design, product design, art direction and fit-outs and Lissoni Graphx for graphic design, visual communication and brand identity, while Lissoni New York develops interior design projects for the American market.
Completed architectural projects include the Grand Park Hotel in Croatia (2019), the restyling of the historic Camparino bar in the Galleria of Milano (2019), The Middle House for the Swire Hotels Group in Shanghai (2018), The Oberoi Al Zorah Beach Resort Ajman in the UAE (2017), the 240-unit condominium Oceana Bal Harbour in Miami (2017), the Casa Fantini hotel on the shores of Lake Orta (2017), the Sanlorenzo yachts SX88 (2017) and SX76 (2018), the Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam (2012), the renovation of the historic Teatro Nazionale in Milan (2009) in addition to the corporate headquarters of Boffi, Cassina, Fantini, Glas Italia, Living Divani and the Sanlorenzo shipyards in La Spezia and Ameglia.
Current projects include Hotel and Residences Dorottya in Budapest, SLS Lux Hotels & Residences in Washington D.C., the Miami Beach Ritz-Carlton Residences, apartments at 45 Park Place in New York, the Hilton Tbilisi hotel in Georgia and private villas in Amsterdam, New York and Mumbai.
Lissoni’s interest in the art world has brought him to design a range of temporary exhibitions such as the retrospective of the photographer Giovanni Gastel at Palazzo della Ragione in Milan and curated by Germano Celant, and the anthology dedicated to the Renaissance painter “Bernardino Luini e i suoi Figli” at Palazzo Reale, also in Milan. Lissoni Associati is a supporting member of the Fondazione Palazzo Te, a partnership that began in 2018 with the design, graphics and catalogue of the exhibition “Tiziano/Gerhard Richter. Il Cielo sulla Terra”, followed in 2018 by the design of the exhibition “Giulio Romano: Arte e Desiderio”.
Since 2015 the Studio has been an active supporter of the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum in Milan, curating the exhibition fit-outs and becoming an institutional partner in 2017.
Piero Lissoni has received a series of international awards, including the Good Design Award, the Red Dot Award and the Compasso d'Oro ADI. He is Board Member of the MAXXI National Museum for the Arts in Rome and is visiting professor and part of the Advisory Board at the Politecnico di Milano. He also serves as an Honorary Member of the Altagamma International Council.

Norbert Wangen
In 1995 he took part in various trade fairs in Munich and New York with a patented product: the folding armchair Attila which became part of the Neue Sammlung in Munich and the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein. In the same year, during rebuilding of an apartment in Munich, he invented the first kitchen with sliding work surface: k2, presented in 2000 at the furniture trade fairs of Cologne, Milan and Chicago. In 1998 he was named one of the 100 best interior architects and designers by the magazine Architektur & Wohnen. In 2002 there was the presentation of the kitchen K10 with a new folding ventilation system in Cologne and Milan. In 2003 the norbert wangen trademark was transferred to Boffi. In the following years the kitchen collection was enriched with k11and k12. 2004 award by the wallpaper magazine for the best domestic design. In 2007 he launched the kitchen k14 (innovative for purity and design essentiality), the L10 washbasin in Carrara marble and the w1 kitchen and bathroom taps. In 2008 his collection has been enriched with bathroom cabinets b14, which is developed in b15 in 2010. In 2009 he presented the k1 kitchen; in 2012 the b20 and b21 bathroom cabinets and the k20 kitchen. In 2014 he cooperate at the interior design project for the Hotel Flushing Meadows in Munich. In 2015 Norbert Wangen got selected by Wallpaper as one of the top 100 product designers. In 2018 the K20 kitchen evolves into K21.
