Programma Simple
Boffi’s Simple modular system, created by Piero Lissoni and C.R.S. Boffi, embodies the pinnacle of minimalist elegance in modern bathroom design. This collection, distinguished by its elongation and clean lines, offers a wide range of modular units in different sizes and finishes, ensuring unequalled customisation. Simple storage units are available in different sizes and luxury materials, providing the freedom to arrange them compatibly with the brand distinctive minimalist style. The finishes range from varnishes and aluminium to white Corian® and fine timbers, including the Shades version in solid wood. The Simple series eliminates the need for traditional handles by adopting the Tip-On push opening system for hinged doors and drawers. This design choice both enhances the minimalist style and adds a practical touch. The Simple series is an ideal solution for anyone seeking a timeless designer bathroom that combines practical performance and a modern, minimalist style. Its versatility and variety of materials make it the perfect option for any type of space.
Compatible with a wide range of sinks, from countertop to built-in versions, Simple offers customizable solutions for every space. The washbasin bases adapt perfectly to the entire range of washbasins, making each composition unique.
Simple’s tops, available with thicknesses ranging from 12 to 23 mm, can be made of glass, Cristalplant®, lacquered, Corian®, stone, marble, granite, Dekton®, MDi by Inalco or solid wood. This variety guarantees maximum freedom in creating personalized, high-quality bathroom environments.

The polyester lacquering is carried out by a process of applying paints on MDF panels, with several coats. The surfaces are sanded with different coarse-grained and fine-grained sandpapers. Then they are polished using brushes impregnated with abrasive wax. The result obtained is a very glossy surface (close to the mirror effect) that reaches 95 gloss. Polyester is a very resistant material, practically waterproof; its surface does not absorb, but is sensitive to scratches. The scratched surface can be re-smoothed and re- polished or even repaired adding material and then by sanding and smoothing it again. Three layers of paint coat each surface, it means 900 g/m2 (ca. 1 mm thick); nine layers of paint coat each edge (ca. 3 mm thick). It is sensitive to light if directly exposed for very long periods. It can slightly change the tone, becoming lighter especially on light tones (family of whites). In case of element additions in a second moment, these tone changes cannot be perfectly replicated and may not match exactly the original shade. This issue cannot be considered cause for a complaint.

Metal-effect lacquer. Easy Metals is a finishing that reproduces the typical effect of metallic surfaces, obtained by use of metal particles-enriched solvent-based paints. Variations in brightness (halos caused by the spread of the paint metal particles along the surface) make each piece a unique and exclusive.

Metal-effect lacquer. Metals is a special finishing which reproduces the typical effect of brushed metallic surfaces, rendered through a very precise and technical sequence of production cycles. The characteristic metallic effect of the surface is given by the alternation of manual and mechanical processes, by the quality of the metal particles-enriched solvent-based paints and by the complex drying procedure. The various shades of colour (halos caused by the spread of the paint chromium particles) and the succession of multi-directional brushing of the surface make each piece a unique and exclusive one.

Boffi uses only wood from not primary forests, to guarantee an adequate restoration of the renewable raw materials. Doors and panels have vertical grain. The “old“ grey pinewood consists of pinewood solid boards recycled from renovation of old houses, barns and huts. The characteristic grey tone of this material is obtained by specific painting cycles, which give the typical “old” aspect to this wood. Possible cracks and deformations have to be considered characteristic part of the product. Since these pieces are very unique, they have the typical appeal of “imperfect things“ and they clearly display sign of times and bad weather; therefore they show deformations and wrinkles strength. Worktops obtained with old wooden boards offer a clear example of the wood vitality and instability. For this reasons each piece in solid wood has to be considered considered “unique“ and different from all the other ones.
