Norbert Wangen K14 continues to define the core of Norbert Wangen’s design research. The defining feature of the 2026 collection is the distinctive elliptical countertop, a silhouette that emerges from the main block to soften its monolithic volume.

This latest evolution seamlessly merges the kitchen and dining areas into a single architectural entity.

The cooking zone serves as a functional stage, while the snack bar – available in an elliptical rear configuration or a lateral overhang up to 900 mm deep – extends the space toward a new dimension of conviviality.

The composition of K14 is elegant and minimal, enhancing the aesthetics of the chosen material. From the refinement of wood to the elegance of steel, from marble to Corian®, each material is chosen for its quality and ability to integrate perfectly into the design.

K14 offers the possibility of having significant overhangs, with a 45° bevel, thanks to its aluminum structure designed to support the overhang with extreme stability and safety.

The following features make SILCOLAK a top-quality finish: • Water-based textured paint, bi-component and undiluted (not contaminated by external agents), designed and produced exclusively for Boffi. • Colour range, exclusive for Boffi. • Excellent chemical and physical resistance (tested in laboratories). • Very low yellowing effect over time. • Coat of isolating paint Primer and double layers of polyester plastering, ideal for reducing small imperfections on surfaces and allowing a better coverage. • Base coat of polyester. • Coat of isolating paint Primer for corners and edges. • Two paint coats, cross-applied.

The premium metal-effect lacquer replicates the refined appearance of brushed metallic surfaces through a highly precise, technical sequence of production cycles. The finish is achieved through a meticulous balance of manual craftsmanship and advanced mechanical processes, utilizing high-quality, metal-particle-enriched solvent paints paired with a complex drying procedure. Due to the natural variance in particle distribution (creating subtle shading and "streaks") and the multi-directional hand-brushing technique, every single piece is completely unique.
