Antibes walk-in wardrobe represents excellence in design and performance for storage spaces. This modular system was designed to meet different requirements, offering great flexibility in its configuration, which perfectly adapts to any space. Antibes stands out for its wide choice of accoutrements, high-quality finishes and an integrated lighting system, creating a superlative user experience. With finishes available in melamine, painted or wood veneer, Antibes also comes in versions with an aluminium frame combined with glass, leather or fabric finishes. The interior, defined by a variety of drawers, pull-out doors and shelves, allows one to artfully display and organise the wardrobe, shoes and accessories, through the innovative use of glass, which adds visibility while protecting the contents. The finishes, which range from microfibers to a variety of coloured leathers, have been conceived to add a touch of sophistication and personality.

The system is complemented by the elegant freestanding unit available as a single or double chest of drawers, with push opening drawers in different finishes, including mirrored ones, and open compartments with removable trays.

Antibes walk-in closet can also be connected to the Antibes wardrobe components with a hinged door, ensuring consistency of style and performance throughout the entire space.

This system, which designer Piero Lissoni has curated down to the last detail, reflects an innovative approach in designing bespoke spaces, making Antibes an ideal solution for anyone seeking a mix of luxury, practicality, and design.

The polyester lacquering is carried out by a process of applying paints on MDF panels, with several coats. The surfaces are sanded with different coarse-grained and fine-grained sandpapers. Then they are polished using brushes impregnated with abrasive wax. The result obtained is a very glossy surface (close to the mirror effect) that reaches 95 gloss. Polyester is a very resistant material, practically waterproof; its surface does not absorb, but is sensitive to scratches. The scratched surface can be re-smoothed and re- polished or even repaired adding material and then by sanding and smoothing it again. Three layers of paint coat each surface, it means 900 g/m2 (ca. 1 mm thick); nine layers of paint coat each edge (ca. 3 mm thick). It is sensitive to light if directly exposed for very long periods. It can slightly change the tone, becoming lighter especially on light tones (family of whites). In case of element additions in a second moment, these tone changes cannot be perfectly replicated and may not match exactly the original shade. This issue cannot be considered cause for a complaint.

Metal-effect lacquer. Metals is a special finishing which reproduces the typical effect of brushed metallic surfaces, rendered through a very precise and technical sequence of production cycles. The characteristic metallic effect of the surface is given by the alternation of manual and mechanical processes, by the quality of the metal particles-enriched solvent-based paints and by the complex drying procedure. The various shades of colour (halos caused by the spread of the paint chromium particles) and the succession of multi-directional brushing of the surface make each piece a unique and exclusive one.
